Emelie has been obsessed with filmmaking ever since she discovered the “Making Of” featurettes at the end of her Disney VHS tapes when she was four years old.
This obsession propelled her to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated with honors in 2015 before moving to Los Angeles to become a genre-hopping, award-winning narrative and commercial director.
As both an Eldest Daughter and a Capricorn, Emelie enjoys writing about toxic family dynamics, complicated friendships, and ambitious women, preferably on a deadline. She loves training for marathons, devouring romance novels, and her AMC A-List membership.
